Pros

No lag or trouble playing any of the games downloaded on the hard drive. Noticed no depletion in load ups etc. Seagate is a trusted brand and i;ve never had any issues from their products.

This is the primary storage i use for a fan-less windows 10 pc which is my media server. One is already full and i like multiple backups, so i purchased another. This is great to expand storage for a ps4.

Cons

It's very slow and it loves to go to sleep which causes applications to lockup. The new disk was also damaged with defective areas discovered in testing software. Had a power outage last night and now the drive is not mounted and unrepairable.

The data cable failed within 2 weeks.

All you have to do is format it first on the ps4 and then once its connected anything you download will go straight on the hard drive.
