Pros

Good capacity & speed. My only nitpick is that when it's thinking hard, i can usually hear that rapid, subtle tick-tick-tick of the disks churning.

Cons

One drive purchased already has over 30 bad sectors and rising, also clicks sometimes during power-up. Amazon's review process is that they lump many similar items together that should not be reviewed together. Seagate says i have to deal with isellal... Read More

Quality

Primarily, i needed the storage capacity, but i'm also pleased with the speed improvement.

My error for thinking they were included with the drive.

I know that other manufacturers have high reliability units, this is just my experience with this brand and product line.

Price

Its exactly what i ordered for a great price.

Packaging/appearance

I did have to replace the hard drive once which i blame the re-seller for not beefing up the internal packaging for shipment.

The speed is about double of the 1tb, probably due to double the cache (64vs128).

Competitiveness

Com offers a 5year warranty of the product purchased though them, so it's a no brainer for me.

I bought two of these 4tb drives to expand my security camera dvr system.

I however did not hear anything out of the ordinary when compared to my older 1-tb drives.
