Packaging/appearance

My only real gripe comes from the packaging.

The drives were rattling about in the box with very little protective packaging.

I suspect damage in transit as the packaging was on the economical side for such sensitive devices.

The packaging situation is a pity and a real shame because these drives are very good.

Competitiveness

The 6tb drive is running extremely well in a synology ds918+ shr, btrfs build.

Got this to put in a synology ds118 to sync my shared folders off my main nas as an offline backup.

I can get 112 mb/s via utp ethernet (which is the maximum speed of a 1gbps ethernet connection minus overhead so more than fast enough.
