Only negative is that if the wire moves in any way i’ll have to restore the hard drive but that takes like 3 min max

I have been using it for years to back up my important files and it works perfectly just make sure you update the software to the latest version and set up your backup plans properly

The drive enclosure died after a year although the drive itself is fine when put in a different enclosure

The first time backing up it started and stopped several times but would not complete my time machine backup
