Pros
Bought this for our ps4. Va très bien encore. I deffinetely recommend it for gamers but it is also excellent if you want to storr videos, photos, etc.
Cons
With time, the wire bends the connection and it will affect the hardrive. I have 10 year old hdds that still work and this one didn't even last a year. Lost all my games and progress. Do not buy a seagate external usb harddrive.
The cord to plug in the device is extremely cheap and basically stops working correctly after it's slightly bent. Went to two computer repair shops to get quotes for recovering data.

This is a quality product that i would buy again or recommend to my friends
Not bad transferring speed is not bad holds a lot of videos and pictures and documents
Newer drives are not recognized by my blu ray players (i have 2).

However, they were so helpful and allowed me to mail my hard drive back to them free of cost for data extraction.
Competitiveness
Given that i purchased this hard drive over 6 years ago, i didn't expect seagate to be able to help me.
I purchased 2 of these and now have 3 of the same model drive.
I would buy it again, but cannot say the same for the current generation in case it is considerably different.
