Ive been running this for 2 years and i havent had any problems no matter what manufacture mechanical hard drives are prone to failure so i think its silly to avoid a certain brand because it can happen to any brand getting a bad egg

There was a time i thought western digital was trustworthy but there were some model drives that they produced that had high failure rate i was so upset when my wd drive wouldnt work
