Have a few of these and it’s great to be able to link them through each other so they can all connect to my mac with the same usb port!
Very pleased with this product and the included backup software.
And it's actually brand new because the previous buyer probably just took the 2 months of adobe subscription and then returned the product.
There are smaller drives, but not with the capacity.
Price
I paid roughly £175 two years ago - naturally the price has come down since then to the 130 - 140 region which would be expected.
Competitiveness
No issues so far added to a 4tb drive as filling up so now have 12tb in total should last a year at least.
If you need an 8tb external or internal, this is your best shot!

Not sure what drive is inside to shuck but running alrightobviously cant be portable really as need mains like many other drivers bigger than 5tb
