Pros

It is a bit too heavy to be conveniently portable, but its sturdiness is a plus. Good storage capacity and good storage capacity.

Tb seagate backup plus hub can back up a snapshot of my entire computer (1tb) in 2 hours. Bought this last year to upgrade my media server from dual 4tb book drives to a single 8tb drive for plex. I wish they would make a 2 drive raid version.

The hib works gantasticly as a stand usb and even allows chaining multiple drives.

I am very happy with this purchase.

I was however disappointed in the software provided with the drive for doing backups of a computer.

My nas device with four 2tb drives won't work with the latest windows 10 and windows 11 - something about insecure protocols.

I am using this as a usb3 hub and drive 2 of a two drive backup solution for my nas.

My seagate 5tb portable drive powers on, but i can't find any mention of it when i access the drive.

Split 8tb hub into a 5 and a 3 tb partitions.
