I really enjoyed the additional 2tb of storage for my console ( used with a ps4, xbox one works too).
I used this external hardrive for over a year before converting to an 8tb of the same brand (games take up more space).

About 5 years later i went to plug in the hard drive to access the data and the drive would no longer show up on my or any other computer

Given that i purchased this hard drive over 6 years ago i didnt expect seagate to be able to help me

However they were so helpful and allowed me to mail my hard drive back to them free of cost for data extraction

They successfully extracted all of my data from the broken hard drive and sent it back to me on a new hard drive all for free
