It also makes the hdd hotter so took it off a few times to cool off

Its seagate brand too so its not like an offmarket poorly fit cover that was mass produced in a foreign country

I thought and was hoping for this to be a bumper cover just like a big squarish o shape that went around the edges

What you dont see in the images is that the backbottom of the drive is fully covered by this case

It has slits in it that i imagine are for ventilation but its still 98 fully covered
