The included usb c adapter is a nice addition as well, especially given the increasing ubiquity of this port. I love the usb c adaptor, it makes for quick transfer and i don't have to break out my big usb adaptor.

Soft touch panel adds a refined aesthetic to this overall. The cloth finish is only on the top portion of the case, but that is the side that one sees.

Seagate backup plus ultra touch offers hardware-level encryption. During setup or even after it's complete, you have the option of encrypting the drive. Unlocking can be done through an included windows app or seagate's toolkit software.
