So this typically wouldnt be a problem for an alpha chad computer nerd like me but this product which does its job wonderfully does not function out of the box

It requires the proper cables of course which are not included but damningly the product requires the download of the seagate drive wizard to function and even be detected on your machine

It isnt too complicated to set up i had my drive functioning in 5 minutes but the fact that they make no mention of the requiring of this software in the manual the product description here on amazon or on the product packaging i believe is unacceptable
