The hard drive write speed is okay for downloading games on if you have a gigabit connection. I keep all my google photos backed up on this drive. I highly recommend this drive to all who use a nas or server wanting more storage on a budget!

A nice transfer rate and seagate is always my choice for hdd purchase.
