Pros

The drives are spinning at 7200 rpm so i always have a cooling fan on my drives. Seems to be a little loud, but i may just be used to my ssd's silence nowadays. Fantastic price that simply can't be beat.

Cons

Seagate's imac started clicking out of the blue, no longer accessible. Returned to seagate after 1 week and it just spins, clicks and doesn't read! Died after only 3 weeks. Now there is a faint beeping noise from the case.

One month out of emachine warrnty. No support from the mfg. Now delivering predicted failure rates of 0. It says hitachi on the moisture bag.

I've since moved essentials towards my 2 ssd cards, using the barracuda for less intensive games, media, etc.

The barracuda has yet to ever let me down after all these years of intense thrashing.
