Pros
It boots fairly fast without optane enabled. With optand enabled, firecuda, it is faster yet. It's faster and smoother in everything it does now.
Works great and looks great even though it's now hidden by the console, obviously. I wish the ps5 operational system would allow using this m.
It works seamlessly and super easy to install. Clean way to get rid of plugging in a external hard drive for my playstation 5 to use. Painless and quick installation in ps5.
Some games are very quiet, but still audible. I understand that there are a few bad apples here and there and that is understandable.
Cons
Buyer beware on this. Can't recommend. Wasted my money. Not even for $0.

I recommend the seller and the product, it arrived quickly and exactly as described.
I notice no difference between playing games from the onboard ssd and the firecuda.
There is nothing wrong with the seagate firecuda hard drive when it makes the noise when reaing, writing.
Price
One of the best ssd at this price is awesome.
Shame the price has since skyrocketed and they are hard to find, because i want a few more.

It is fast and good for gaming in my opinion.
The read speed is fast, just not as fast as it says.
Packaging/appearance
Run all my ps4 games on the firecuda and they run seamlessly.
I worked in the ps5 well and the size of the heat sink was not a problem.
It was difficult to insert the chip into the ps5.

I had a 1tb hdd barracuda drive (j) and a 3tb (k) one that i upgraded to the two 4tb firecuda drives.
So, i'm a little disappointed that i hear these more expensive firecuda drives.
Before i upgraded my oem 256gb ssd to a 1tb ssd by another vendor i installed apps on my 3tb k drive.

However it wouldnt fit because this ssd has chips on both sides of the circuit board while my old drive had them only on one side

Opening the pc eventually weakened the sata cable and it broke

The power supply swing out mechanizm has a bar that was hitting the sata angle head cable connector a bit too much
