Warning:bought two. All three are being returned. Unable to gain any further access to it and so dispatched it to the tip. Am returning for refund and will look elsewhere. Sent back to amazon within 24 hours of receipt.

The drives will always 'power' but not appear as usb devices or usable drives. Can't even write a few mbs of word documents without waiting for ages. It keeps disconnecting when moved even slightly making it basically unusable. It is advertised as usa... Read More

I contacted seagate online and they were very helpful, prompt and confirmed my hard-drive was still under the `recover date warranty`.

Packaging/appearance

Also, got a nice case to protect it all.
