Pros

Larger sas drives are harder to come by. Works great. No complaints. Smooth running, a good buy.

Using 4 of those drives with lsi-9361 12gb/s controller. Disk are in the hp server for 6 months now - no issues. These are the maximum size drive you can instal in a dell poweredge 2950 with perc 5i raid controller.

Cons

The manufacturer warranty is already expired on them. The worst offender is the s.

Purchased 28 of the 3tb sas drives listed as new. The lifetime writes on them all are less than 3tb so it's not like they've been heavily used. Sold global silicon electronics, inc.

Disk are in the hp server for 6 months now - no issues.

Edit 2: i now have 32 of these drives and haven't had any other drives fail since the 2 that had issues but where replaced under warranty.

I have used many of these drives and had a fairly high failure rate.

Price

Good low cost nl-sas drivethe drive seems to meet all my expectations and will probably get more soon

The disk arrived early, well packaged and fully functional.

I sent the info, they sent a return shipment tag, i sent the bad drive out and had the replacement delivered in six days!

That included the shipping time back to them.

The shipping was super fast and the packing was very good.

I have been using seagate drives for years and prefer them over any other.

Since these particular drives have one of the best ratings on the market, this review is directed to the seller more than the product.

The drive works like other seagates, especially the sas drives.
