With the disk being large capacity it needs to be initialised on pc before you can use it which is very easy to do

Get amazon warranty for piece of mind as these are ineligible for seagate warranty

Important during the refurbishment smart data has clearly been reset that doesnt mean theres any issues just other commentators saying these are new are wrong
