Pros

Not a deal breaker to me. It works great and the price is exceptionally reasonable at just over two hundred bucks. Would purchase again. Superior value at my time of purchase.

The key is how they’re being used. I know that is contested, but i’m saying it anyway. Speeds are decent, with 260+/- sequential reads/writes. Temps are decent even during prolonged writes.

No problems or reportable errors after 1. Years.

Cons

Received cyclic redundancy error. Returning for a full refund. Seagate's warranty website is non functional. Instead will return to amazon and replace with western digital red pro.

Quality

I used seagate as my primary hd for a long time, they has good quality.

This one has great specs and comes with a 5 year warranty.

Checked the warranty and all are good until 06/30/2028 - basically 5 years.

So far none of the exos drives i've purchased over the years have given any problems other than this one doa.

Price

Great cost per tb, and is sufficient for media and game development.

This 14 tb seagate exos was reasonably priced and available overnight.

The price is also meager $210 - $15 per tb!

These things are staggeringly cheap for what they do, which is store, massive amounts of data.

Shipping

Got the order quicker than expected and arrived without an issue.

It arrived the next day and is up and running with no problems.

Packaging/appearance

Drives arrived well packed and simply wrapped in esd bags.

I would not cram these into a tiny box that hides inside a cabinet without adequate ventilation.

Competitiveness

Also, quickdealstore are the best sellers i've had the pleasure of doing business with.

I filed a claim with seagate and they replaced it no questions asked.

Just be aware that being this is a server/ enterprize drive it will make more noise than a standard commodity hard drive.
