Cons
The purchasing company or the manufacture company is responsible for the warranty. Been using wd for a long time, but gave seagate a chance and am super disappointed.

Easy to set-up, incredible quality, i use this on my plex nas server, it's a fantastic drive.

Overall great hard drive for good price.
Reasonable price and currently there is no issue at all.

I purchased the most recent from hyper mega electronics and it came quickly and was packed well.
The drives arrived and were very well packed.
1- that being said, my seller: hyper mega electronics shipped the item the same day with fedex overnight!

Packaging/appearance
Great packaging and drives are fully warrantiedwill buy from again
Double boxed and cocooned in a ball of bubble wrap.
The hard-drive arrived anti-static bagged, bubble wrapped, and boxed individually.
They could not have done a better job with the packaging as well.
Competitiveness
It's as fast as other modern hdds and it's gigantic.
The x18 are newer and the x20 are the newest ones.

Ive been buying external drives from amazon for a while and shucking them mostly because of the poor packing for internal drives sold by amazon itself

I was able to register the drive online to seagate and their system says the warranty is valid for five years
