Pros
The setup is very easy and is compatible with macbooks. Super easy to format the hard drive to be compatible with mac.
It is silent, runs fast, doesn’t get hot and i have mine plugged on my laptop all the time! I just needed more backup storage space and since the 1tb is full; this 2tb model feels just as good quality as my older one.
Cons
Returning this item. Would not recommend their hard drives to anyone.
There is no way to view folders as a list. The folder are literally all over the place. There was read-me instruction for pc and chromebook only. I cant even click on a folder without it freezing.
Tried to eject. Wouldn't eject. Died randomly a couple of months after the warranty. Even this case is not properly attach.

None of these are a permanent lifetime solution.
As soon as i plug it into the computer it immediately popped up as a usb drive, and without any bs bloatware popping up.
Price
Good amount of space for its value
I believe the ones that are permanently store your files for a lifetime (forever) are much more expensive.
I did get this on sale for $10more tthen the 4tb version.
Price is reasonable for a 2tb storage unit.

I download the games to the external drive and when i’m ready to play i simply move them over to the internal drive

Nowhere in any of the setup guides i received with the new product did it mention anything about reformatting
