Pros
This is the 2nd seagate small size usb external harddrive that i buy. I just needed more backup storage space and since the 1tb is full; this 2tb model feels just as good quality as my older one. The price for 5tb and good quality is amazing.
Fast enough, downloaded huge number of photos and graphics. The setup is very easy and is compatible with macbooks.
Cons
Really dissatisfied with the amazon support. Extremely disappointing. Waste of my money. Will not be returning this item.
Ntfs compatibility is for windows, not mac. Perhaps my mac 2014 27 inch desktop is too old (big sur os) but this external drive will not work with it.
Tried to eject. Wouldn't eject. Died randomly a couple of months after the warranty. And even this case is not properly attach.

Good amount of space for its value
I believe the ones that are permanently store your files for a lifetime (forever) are much more expensive.
I did get this on sale for $10more tthen the 4tb version.
Price is reasonable for a 2tb storage unit.

Does the job nice size heavier than what you would think recommend the case or similar protection when storing i bought 4tb i have so many usb flash drives several with 1tb and i never can save my files yet with this drive of 4tb i did not even use 20 of memory for my files that were all copied with ease with the onging purchases of flash usb i could have bought this system a long time ago it comes with help should your data be lost for free retrieval i would say just buy this and keep it if you dont want to really use it that is how impressive this storage device is
