I am so happy with this hd i will buy another one after this review.
Great product but the cord is sensitive as most hard drives are
The drive comes packaged with the drive itself, a shortish usb 3.
Some older seagate drives did not play nice on linux systems unless the drive's sleep mode was disabled with the seagate tools.
Price
The price was fair and it does the job perfectly.
Because it works quite well for a good price i'm giving this drive 5 stars.
Competitiveness
The usb3 cable is the least thing i like about this.
I'm using this on a macbook pro as well as a pc.
It is cheap priced around $108 for a 3tb drive!
I'll need to buy a better usb3 cable.
