Huge amount of storage for a reasonable price.

I only bought this item from amazon as 1) free next day delivery and 2) it has lots of space to store all my music and 3) it was on sale
It arrived a day earlier than it was supposed to arrive.
I spent two days cleaning up my files and shipping them over to this drive that i hooked direct into my router.

Who knows the devices qualities does not make very clear what this device is good at but for me it has been used as backup storage that i pull out once a year and although it is slow audible vibrates and warm to the touch

I bought a 10tb external drive because it wasnt a smr drive anything from 8tb to 4tb is a smr drive which are no good

Great hard drive for the price but there’s no power button to turn on and off so you either let it run or you have to unplug
