Pros

Seagate is a platter disk drive of 2tb. This drive, as a full 4tb, is a bit finicky about needing plenty of power on the usb bus. It's amazing to see how much storage you can get nowadays for not a lot of cash.

The case has a single usb micro-b port on one end and a blue led indicator light to show power status. I have it plugged in to a powered usb hub, can't tell you how well it might work with an unpowered one.

The beauty of this hard drive is its portability. As you can see from my benchmark, it's not the fastest, but it's fast enough for backups. A 10gb file takes about 3 minutes or so to make successful transfer.

Light is pretty bright. Its barely noticeable but there. Perfect for os or gaming drives or even for carrying around. It is pretty portable.

Cons

Bought this item on march 1st; worked well on the xbox one up until tonight, dec 20th. I'm livid that the warranty doesn't cover this. Not a happy consumer.

We’ve used this drive for backup for more than 3 months now, and it has turned in a solid, reliable performance the entire time.

I've had very good luck with several iterations of seagate drives over the years and have experienced no issues with this model.

Most of the drives i have are formatted for the mac and even empty drives, i was unable to figure out how to convert it to a pc format.
