Pros

Stored over 950gb of video and haven't noticed any issue in playback. Plug it in, mac asks if you want to use as a time machine drive.

Cons

They charge you tax and half the price you paid for restocking fees. This is unacceptable! Save yourself the headaches, and do not buy seagate.

Only worked two years and died. Stopped properly working withing the first week of average indoor use. I have other hdd's that have lasted much, much longer.

A year after i bough this drive of 4tb it is dead. It seems it has been completely corrupted somehow. Tried recovery(s) on pc but unrecognizable. The second seagate i bought in nov 2020 is now also dead and i'm mad.

I buy external drives expecting to store some data and perhaps retrieve it later. Checked serial number of seagate website, which states the drive is not under warranty!
