New one is less than quarter size of old one, easy to set up. Works perfectly to reduce storage on my mac lap top. Great quality, perfect for backups.
Cons
Has to be repaired frequently and often safely disconnected and reconnected before it'll work again. Had to order an adapter pack to be able to plug it into to complete transfer.
