Pros

This is a great upgrade for the ps5. Reminds me of when ssd first came out and a 64 gigabyte drive was well over 100 dollars. Most likely will buy another. After that, don't have to do anything else. Great value for the playstation 5.

This drive is smokin fast in my 2021 xps 17! Speeds are awesome but i purchased this because of the tbw rating. Games run slightly smoother and game startups are faster.

Although very pricy its well worth it in the long haul for serious gamers. Drive is fast and most importantly has industry leading tbw durability.


Cons

One would figure when you install a hard drive, it's just a matter of hooking it up and partitioning it, but apparently not for this one. Can't recommend. Buyer beware on this.

Does not post when restarting. Tried two different units. After turning it back on it tells me i need to reformat the ssd or take it out and put it back in which i did and still could not format it.

    Longterm value is great as its the largest capacity the playstation 5 supports and it should be able to be reinstalled in a theoretical playstation 5 pro or a pc if you stop using playstations

    Takes less than 5 min to install runs faster than your factory hard drive and triples your memory capacity which seeing as most of these updates are getting into the 3050gb range is very needed… i’m not a very tech oriented guy i watched a few videos checked a bunch of comparisons this was typically higher listed than the comparable wd850 black or samsung 980 pro
