Easy install, easy upgrade, and runs faster than the ps5! It is a true 4tb drive and is plug and play with the playstation 5.

Quality

I finally upgraded to this ssd and have been very pleased with the product.

I love this drive, it is a true 4tb drive and is plug and play with the ps5.

Only issue is that it gets hot even with the heatsink.

I don’t know why the 1tb of exact model is faster in read speed.

It is very easy to install this memory module into the ps5 without damaging the unit.

It was totally my fault as i didn’t have the spacer installed properly thereby causing the firecuda to not be seated correctly in the ps5.

Competitiveness

My first seagate was a 2tb barracuda drive similar specs as far as cache and speed, never once had an issue.

I’ve offloaded most of my ps4 library onto the device along with some larger ps5 downloads.

I lucked out only when someone on the xmg discord server mentioned how cool the older firecuda 520 and 510 were for them.

Had another brand that did not work on my new ps5.
