But if youre the type who doesnt want to custom build or your laptops mobility is its most essential feature heres what ive seen from this unit after connecting it to the laptop with a thunderbolt 3 to usb adapter which costs quite a bit of money on its own and greatly reduces the usability of the dock so i dont recommend this process

Youre obviously not going to be able to use it laying in bed to watch movies but thats not the point of it

Hell have to unplug anything else hes charging in order to use this with his laptop

Another little quirk was having to unplug it and plug it back in when the laptop went to sleep on its own
