The speed doubled from the original 256gb apple (samsung) drive.

I did have to make a couple changes in my bios and disk controller for it to be recognized and bootable but anyone whos done work on their computer before should be able to manage such with little difficulty

One thing that you do not see a lot of in social media techs is how nvme effects rts games like civ 6 and total war as my raid 0 gen 3 nvme loads turns like butter
