Pros & Cons
Pros
Seagate firecuda is unbeatable for speed with seagate quality & warranty. The price tag is hefty on this ssd, but the performance is definitely top end. Inexpensive sata iii 7200 rpm 8 tb drive. Runs reasonably cool (35 degrees c).
Seagate 2tb ssd is simply the best. Transferred all my ps5 data 400+gbs in 80 seconds. Tb is the sweet spot 4me, but 4tb if u feel needed.
Cons
The product is advertised for more then 7k mb per second. Other manufacturers have the ssds with twice the storage with the same or better specs. It turns the playstation off and crashed the system several times while in a game.
This store is too fishy from my technical experience. Seagate support only communicates via chat.
Seagate lost thousands of dollars in labor/data. Supposedly my warranty is good until 2025. Seagate is making customer service the poorest a company can make it.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to click and screw in, love the stickers included.
I used easus to transfer my old 456 gb drive to this ~2tb drive and it works flawlessly.
The whole process took less than an hour to complete.
We will see how durable it is and how it holds up.
