Pros
Bought this to be my gaming drive. Works well, and is a great add on for clearing up some space on the ps4. The only thing is the supplied cable is a little on the short side when trying to use it on my desktop.
Cons
No restarts, no error messages. Crashed after a couple weeks. Says needs to be repaired but it wont repair.
It was not recognized as connected by the ps4. Will not hold any ps5 games which defeats the purpose for the ps5 altogether. You still have to update the game to series compatibility which requires storage on the base xbox.
Seagate selling defective products. Did not come with a carrying case neither an envelope, tight packaging. Complete garbage 100% rip off.

File transfer speed via cable to your ps5 is pretty meh, but for added storage this works well enough on a budget.
Shipping
First one didn’t work but amazon quickly fixed that and sent another in 2 days.

Even though it was a “used” item, it came with the original packaging and it even had the plastic to hold the usb cable bundled up.

Bought it ‘cause i needed some more space for some ps4 and ps5 games otherwise i’d have to download them and install them again and again

I purchased this as a 2nd external drive believing that it was able to store and play ps5 games as i already had a working seagate drive for my ps4 games

Please be advised that this product is compatible with the ps5 in that it will store and play ps4 games on your ps5 system
