This discrepancy is not explained by seagate on their website or in their hdd product specifications. The device is not 5 terabyte, in actuality it is 4. Super slow transfer speed using usb 3.

My file manager freezes every time i try to access the files on the hard drive. Returned for full refund. This seems to be a recurring issue with all the seagate drives we've bought.
