Very quiet too, so definitely a good buy. Fast and quite for the price. Quiet and fast.

Returned 1st drive made in 2013 since hdd software indicated it had been powered on 194 times and had been on for more than 1856 days indicating it was used for more than 5 years

Although it shows no use and that i had powered on for the first time these drives were both 6 years old made for an oem for a system install but must have been on a shelf and they are getting rid of old inventory
