Quality
Write speed – 212 mb/sread speed – 222 mb/soverall very happy with the drive.
Has a real quality feel to it, performs well and has a decent guarantee.
Slight changes to the size of this compared with the previous version made it a tight fit in my netgear rn214.
But be aware, the ironwolf pro drives to be loud.

Competitiveness
So far so good, no problems at all using it on a synology nas
So by getting a 4tb drive, i am able to only take up one hard drive bay in my computer but still, have plenty of storage.
Having asked me to carry out some tests, they sent me a 6tb replacement, within a week.
I bought two of these 4bg drives to fit into a synology nas as a raid pair.

They’ll send out a pack of batteries in a two foot square box surrounded by air pillows but risk damage to precision engineered mechanical hard drives in packaging that will happily fit through the letterbox only to go crashing to the floor doing all kinds of unseen damage as the delivery driver has no indication as to how delicate the contents are
