Highlights
Quality
After a few short life smr seagate drives, i thought i’d step up my drive quality to iron wolf class.
I'm very disappointed in the quality of this product.
I bought this device for my recently purchased nas system and you can hardly hear either of them very pleased!
I am using the drive in a server for time machine backups.
Price
I think the premium price is worth it as long as the mtbf is as advertised.
Easy to install and a great price.
Shipping
Authentic product, with fair timely international shipping, works fine.
Packaging/appearance
I liked they were individually boxed with proper packaging and not just tossed in plastic bags like other vendors.
The hdd worked as intended, packaging was environment friendly .
Competitiveness
I use it in a raid5 setup and it is quiet and speedy.
I will be buying more 8tb volumes.
I bought 3 to install in a synology nas.
So i decided to order 3 more to do a raid5 setup.
