Pros & Cons
Pros
Seagate st20000nt001-3lt101 works perfectly well. Stays cool (46’c) decent speed 120mb/a transferring over my network. Comes with data rescue services which i hope i will never have to use but like insurance it is good to have.
Cons
The 8tb drive is very unstable and unreliable for backing up your data. The 12 tb drive is incredibly slow. All 3 12tb ones technically work at least, for now (1 month in)? Since when do hdds clunk so much? Check the model.
Do not trust your cherished data on this sub-par product. Dead after 3 years, and very little use. It is not worth the hassle.
Since this item was both sold & shipped by amazon. Drive is dead on arrival. Unbelievably poor shipping. Also packaged badly.
Highlights
Quality
Working well and highest speed will be above 180mb/s
Would not hesitate to buy them when i want a good reliable hdd.
Of the 13 8tb drives i've had over the last 5 years.
I really chose this model for the 3 year warranty and the load/unload cycles is double the ws blue equivalent.
