Large Storage Capacity
Customers generally express satisfaction with the large storage capacity of Seagate IronWolf 18TB NAS Internal Hard Drive HDD, praising its fast transfer speeds and ease of use in various NAS systems. However, a few customers mention some initial issues during setup and slight loudness.
Highlights
Quality
These are working perfectly & seem faster than pretty much any traditional (mechanical) hard drives i've ever had.
These drives (24tb ironwolf pro) are just working great.
After 37 months, one of the drives started showing bad sectors, and two months later the second one is showing errors.
Glad i had these in raid 6 so no data was lost, but two failures after 28,000 hours is not cool.
Price
None the less, no problems and fast (and slightly cheaper than wd).
For price and quality it’s not terrible for the money but i wish they lasted longer.
Shipping
The 24tb hard drives arrived promptly, were packaged appropriately, and appear to be working properly in the synology nas system.
This arrived fast, and fit the bill.
Packaging/appearance
My two drives arrived in perfect condition, and when checked out had no errors or bad sectors etc at all.
