Pros

The 12 tb are the first size (going up in capacity) where the specification first refers to helium inside so all good. This new packing seems pretty good, although the disks could move maybe a cm or so inside the container.

The 12 tb are the first size (going up in capacity) where the specification first refers to helium inside so all good.

No bad sectors in my nas after 6 months.

Instead of having 3 usb external drives i have replaced them with the 18tb internal.

Verified serial number on seagate site and full warranty applies etc so all seems good.

Packaging/appearance

This new packing seems pretty good, although the disks could move maybe a cm or so inside the container .

Some reviewers have put poor packaging and doa disks when delivered.
