Quiet fast i wish they were cheaper but very happy!

I wanted something high quality without an insane price tag.

I bought the 4tb versions and replaced with the 6tb for more storage.

Price

My only advise is watch the price, these will jump from $239 down to $180.

Packaging/appearance

Packaging was very well secured and sealed.

Fast shipping, easy packaging, easy to install (that's more a nas thing) and the qc on them is good.

However, my trouble was that amazon's packaging was completely inadequate to protect the drive during shipment.

Clinking noise right out of the box.

Competitiveness

I have a twelve bay nas synology storage system that i presently utilize the seagate 10tb drives in.

Purchased 2 drives for a synology nas.

It works exactly as you'd expect it too, if you're in the market for an 8tb nas drive.
