Pros

A-tech 16gb ecc ram sticks are a steal for more than half the price of synology-branded ram. Works great no issues so far.

Fast, low price, cmr, 4tb capacity. These 12tb drives are 4k sectors with emulated 512bit sectors. The old rebuilt at ~90 mb/s. It's a 5400rpm 4tb seagate ironwolf hard drive.

Cons

Seagate warranty support is a scam. They only provide refurbished drives as warranty replacements. Only buy these with the understanding that there is zero warranty.

I'm sorry seagate if your receivers ate crayons when they were growing up. Zero communication and seagate dropped the ball, i get the bill. Seagate is dead to me.
