Hard drive started knocking after a couple of months. The actuator is noisy. Therefore warranty not valid in us.

Doing the data migration, the 12tb disks are doing 300-500mb/sec in read/write performance, best hard drives i have ever owned.

I was able to find 2 drives for $300 each during the black friday sale.

Shipping

The product arrived faster than i expected.

Not happy to receive what was, at the time, labeled as st12000vn0007.

Competitiveness

I have always had good luck with seagate products and this one seems to be as good as the others.

I will say the ironwolf pro drives are far superior but these are a great choice in the right uses.

It's really sad nowadays we only have more or less two brands to choose from and this being one of 'em.
