One started failing so i bought 4 (accidentally 5) with the thought of replacing both and adding two more.
I had another 12/17/20 drive but given two failures from that manufacture date, i went with the last that was 11/30/20, and that worked.
Price
The price is quite nice on these and seagate seems to really stand by the product with data recovery included with purchase.
The price is a little high for them but it is a nas drive and well worth it.

Despite being non-ssd they are able to saturate the 2bg network connection on the synology (lacp) with approximately 220 mb/s.
Competitiveness
$319 for 12tb 7200 rpm drives is a great price.
Very pleased with these 4tb nas drives.
I have a 4-bay qnap nas with 2 bays in use, both running the version of these drives from 6 years ago.
A bit noisy compared to the two other 6tb disks but nothing terrible.

I bought it used acceptable for 77 instead of 94 newacceptable means the item is fairly worn but continues to function properly

Four months ago i installed x2 ironwolf 4tb drives in my synology nas and they perform wonderfully
