Pros

The drive was supplied in a fit for purpose, shock and crush resistant hdd packaging. Easy to install, when used as a replacement drive. I have an old raid array i am moving to a new chassis and one of the drives failed.

Transfer speed is good and noise levels almost none existent. As they're nas drives they are noisier than some others but not too loud.

Seagate ironwolf 4tb model is noticeably smaller and lighter than my old wd's. Works like a charm even though officially reolink says only support 6tb, mine works fine.

X8tb for nas. Easy to fit into my synology nas, zero problems. On my dsm 7. Dsm, i can't find my tb.

Cons

Absolutely appalling, hdds are very fragile and need much more protection. One of them is already faulty. Sadly, they aren't interested in helping.

All fine with the hardware but the noise is significantly louder.

Packaging/appearance

Good packaging no problems in synology drive

The excellent packaging on these drives surprised me, as did the build quality of the casing.

Packaging adequately protective but not usual amazon standard.
