What does this mean?Pros & Cons
Pros
I have 4 in a 4-bay nas about 3ft from my ears and whilst i can hear them the noise level is not objectionable. What's not to like?

However price is much cheaper than by directly from seagate or amazon.
Cant complain for the price, but man this thing is loud.

Both arrived quickly from the us in perfect working order.
It arrived way before the scheduled delivery date and the packing was really well.

Each drive serial number is registered with seagate so im not too worried about warranty problems

Moving from wd red these are much noisier id say almost double the volume bear in mind if in a room where you sleep of watch tv but tbh the wd reds were above the noise level id want in each of these places as well its just disconcerting hearing much louder sounds at first

In a nas environment thats used frequently i figure if anything is wrong its likely to go wrong in a few months but im not willing to risk it with no warranty at all

I bought one from a different seller which came with approx 14 months warranty so i just returned the one with none
