For the price this has to be up there with the best with this kind of storage.
Have a few of these and it’s great to be able to link them through each other so they can all connect to my mac with the same usb port!
Portability, warranty, subscriptions to other software are all worthy of purchasing the product.
No issues with playing the media and none with the mac or windows connections.
Price
The price was great and so is the product.
The connection cord is a little short, if i was being picky but the price is excellent and the performace is great for my needs.
And for the price i got it (£105), it's a steal.
Shipping
This one is lightning fast with no issues at all.
Competitiveness
Very much liking my recently purchased 2tb portable storage drive.
Most of my recent purchases have been 8tb hdd's for storage and multiple back-ups of my music and movie libraries - also excellent value.
Seriously lighter than my other 2tb portable, so much so that i suspected it may in fact hold an ssd.
Simple to use,just plug it in and away you go!

Not sure what drive is inside to shuck but running alrightobviously cant be portable really as need mains like many other drivers bigger than 5tb

Cable is quite short but such devices never come with long cables as they are portable devices not desktop devices

You will find there seagate back up utility for windows and mac for mac it is in separated folder and warranty in pdf file

Update a minor annoyance is that theres no operations light that tells you when the drive is reading or writing as opposed to merely turned on
