Light isn't too bright to be distracting. Works well and good transfer speed on my xbox series x 1gig/ps. Series s&x optimised games internally. Great storage for a cheapxbox.

The wd drive from shucking is not really great quality anyway.
Price
I'd consider the expansion card to fix this issue, but it's bloody pricey.
