Anyways, the drive works as advertised so far. Seems to be very good with reading/writing capabilities.
The usb 3. T drive is exactly what it was meant to be. It is fairly quick and have had no issues with the device. That's why i gab either 4. Otherwise, would have given 5. Hence the delay in writing this review.
Cons
Bring it to work, and right away that horrid beeping and not being recognized on the computer. To make matters worse, there is no way to view folders as a list. There was read-me instruction for pc and chromebook only.
In another incident, videos were backed up and later about 50% of them were found to be corrupted, causing loss of research data. Tb at 5400 rpm seems like a contradiction, so i wasn't looking out for it. Barely used it 4x for a few backups over 7mo.

Excellent product, one more quality: no ac connection, take it from computer, very convenient.
Excellent product had older model for 6 years and worked flawlessly.
After a while the case started to get quite hot and the transfer speed went way down and bounced between 15 and 25 mb/s.
This is the third ssd i've baught of this type and for good reason.
Price
But the price for the volume it offers is very reasonable.
For the price you just can't get any better.

Packaging/appearance

They are a bit laggy compared to the samsung ssds and the lacie.
But i had other products from this brand, and they worked well.

My biggest concern when it comes to hard drives is longevity of them i dont want to loose all of my data but i guess you cant be 100 protected from anything like that happening

After those two showing no signs of data corruption or slowdown i just had to get one for a friend who was looking for a reliable external drive for his work files
