Pros
Super small and portable. Extremely compact, ready to go out of the box, and hopefully free from possible crashes.
Cons
Will not purchase another seagate product again. Usb-c adapter was super loose and kept disconnecting easily from my macbook.
Small drive that destroys its own files randomly. Barely faster than a hdd after 3 months. It just heats up.

While the crucial x8 is usbc this seagate one touch is only usb 3 which means its slightly slower

Its rates at 400 mbs where the crucial x8 is rated at 1050 mbs and the different usb connections is the reason for the speed difference

I wasnt interested in using the software that comes with the drive because with a mac id prefer to use time machine rather than a thirdparty software for backups
